Note: Currently, Amber possesses a different name in the HSR universe. But for the sake of not confusing anyone, I will be referring to her as Amber in this carrd.

HSR! Amber's information is stored in this separate carrd since the original one is already quite bloated. It's also to record any notable experiences that Amber's had in the verse that may or may not impact her character growth.

I'd love to TL;DR this and say that it's just an AU of Amber being in HSR, but it isn't as straightforward as that. Hence why I've resorted to calling her a semi-OC at this point.
I am [not] sorry.This AU is an off-shoot/divergence of the original FavoniusLepus storyline. The branching off starts at the Chasm Arc, AKA Amber's death in Teyvat, as seen in the timeline below.

Ironically though, this version of Amber doesn't carry any of her past memories.So even if you're new to this account and/or don't understand any of the events in that timeline, you don't have to worry about it, since you don't have to.The reason for her existence in the HSR universe is a bit more complicated. Just know that it's basically an isekai. Full details of that explanation can be found in the History section.In the best way one can describe/summarize via shitty drawings:

Should your character be from Teyvat or is familiar with the world, they could recognize her. They're also free to help her remember parts of her old self. But whether or not that's applicable to your character is up to you.By default, she recognizes everyone that the Astral Express has met since she has heard of their trailblazing expeditions before. Whether or not she is meeting your muse for the first time/your muse has already heard of her is up to your discretion.

[Origin of the AU]Amber sustained and eventually succumbed to a fatal wound as well to her Abyssal corruption in Teyvat, the Underground Chasm. While dying, she was being surrounded by the overwhelming presence of Celestial energy from the Divine Nail and Abyssal energy from the environment's corruption as well as her own.Due to the intense clashing nature of both energies, as well as the struggle to purify/corrupt Amber until her death, the event created an anomaly in the Ley Lines wherein it was interpreted that Amber was both dead and alive at the same time. But since a world (in this case, Teyvat) can only store only one of either states, her "alive state" was sent to the universe of Honkai: Star Rail via the Imaginary Tree.This superposition manifested differently in each universe. In Genshin, Amber was unconscious and slowly being taken over by the Dark Mud. In HSR, Amber was still unconscious, but was preserved by Imaginary (Imprisonment) and Quantum (Entanglement) energy at the same time.- — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — -[Prologue]Amber spawned in one of the spare rooms of the Astral Express while stuck in her Imprisoned-Entangled state. She was eventually found by Himeko, and with the guidance of Herta, severed Amber's connection to her "dead state". This lead to her Imprisonment-Entangled state breaking, with the Imaginary element shattering into pieces and the Quantum element dissipating.But since she sustained a gash prior to dying out, she was actually revealed to be in a half-dead state and continued to bleed out upon being released from the barrier. Nonetheless, Himeko managed to patch her up on time.- — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — -

She currently has no formal position in the Express.— Investigating her past, but not chasing after it.— She's currently wearing the same garments that she had when she appeared in the Express, excluding the eyepatch since a new left eye was mysteriously regenerated for her.— Wields a sword that was found alongside her when she appeared in the Express, but she doesn't fight that well with her sword...— Has control and can wield the Quantum element.

— Her "birthday" is recognized to be November 19, 2025 instead of August 10, 20XX.— Her regenerated left eye (one with the purple pupil) was made by the leftover and neutralized Abyssal/Quantum energy in her body. This is already something that the corruption used to do whenever it took control of Amber back in Teyvat.— The Vision on her hip is cracked and dull. She keeps it hidden somewhere in her room in fear of damaging it any further.— Amber is one of the few characters who can naturally wield an element in this universe. Therefore, her use of Quantum is similar to Seele's.— Despite having no memories of her past life left, there are things that give her a strong sense of deja vu, or that she possesses traits with unexplainable origins. All applicable instances are listed below:• An adoration for bunnies.• A deep fascination with fire.• Preference to stay at taller heights.• An affinity with the wind.• An uncanny ability to masterfully wield a bow.• A strong feeling of nostalgia whenever she observes a certain Curio (the Wind Glider) on the Herta Space Station. She also describes that "she was being embraced by the winds" whenever she approaches the Curio.• An attraction of sorts to Robin because she reminds her of Lumine.
